Newbury's Black Tie Specialists Throw Premiere

BOSTON, MA, December 1, 2005 – Classic Tuxedo has long been a favorite of local grooms, celebrities and elite young professionals. Its mix of high-end designer tuxedos and accessories come from both local and European designers. Their suits can be seen on many of the city’s most successful men (and women) including hometown comedians Dennis Leary and Lenny Clark. Or maybe you saw their styles featured in that Great Gatsby party scene of the blockbuster Fever Pitch. Now this men’s formalwear specialist is throwing a Grand Opening Celebration at its swanky new location, 223 Newbury Street, on December 2, 3 and 4, 2005.

The Newbury Street location has been completely remodeled to be a bright and open atmosphere with great style and a young, en vogue feel. The warm white color palette with orange and blue accents couples with natural elements like wood floors, brushed stainless and stone. It is arguably the sleekest store design in men’s formalwear history.

Inside in Style

Flat screen TV will feature movies with famous black tie scenes, store updates, and the most popular wedding songs of today.

Millwork columns display individually lit merchandise mannequins backed against different textures. Stone, stamped metal or painted blues create aesthetic frames.

Vibrant citrusy bench seating over a modern area rug lets customers sit and browse magazines or watch TV while waiting. Friends come out and model tuxedos in front of a decorative fireplace mantle.

Curved accent wall of textured rubber creates bold excitement while showcasing every vest style.

Our Newbury Street store now reflects the distinctive address for premiere shopping that it truly is. It’s going to serve as a model for the rest of our stores; long-time clients and first time shoppers alike will still find a renowned selection of unique products and expert customer service but in a more modern space,” said Bill Tzizik, CEO, Classic Tuxedo.
